I bought this phone for my legally blind father and it’s great. One button for on and off makes it easy for him to use. The reception is sooooooo much better than his previous phone. Easy size to hold and the yellow strip on the top that blinks when there’s a message can’t be missed. We ordered a second handset for him. I wish I had this phone for myself!

I like this hearing aide because it was easier for my mom to use and large enough for her to handle at 89 years old. The expensive one she had she couldn’t adjust or put on herself. And she didn’t hear so good with that. This really created a more peaceful use and less worry if it is lost. Thank you

Purchased for my 94 year old mother who is in a nursing home. She had an expensive hearing aid and lost it twice. I have needed help hearing in my left ear, but did not really have resources to go the traditional routes. We read the reviews on this hearing aid on Amazon and realized it really really worked for some buyers and for a couple, it did not. For me this hearing aid is a God sent blessing. Justin Reinholz (Sonic Technology Products) went out of his way to make sure I was compfortable eith the hearing aids. He even had suggestions to help as well. If you are looking for a set of hearing aids at an affordable price and excellent support then I would recommend you purchase these.

I couldn’t believe how well this digital hearing aid worked for my mother. I went to the audiologist and they were trying to sell us $3,000.00 hearing aids. After the sticker shock was over, I did my research on the internet and found this factory close out. I was nervous about the 14 day guarantee, but after one week my mother was hearing things she hadn’t heard in years and we didn’t have to go into debt to take care of her hearing loss.

I would recommend this hearing aid to anyone as well as let them know how over priced “fitted” hearing aid are at the audiologist.

The reviews here were very helpful in selecting this product over other amplifiers and analog type hearing aids in this general price range.

I have been diagnosed with fairly severe hearing loss (high frequency rolloff of 60db, 20db overall) and have tinnitus so that like many others, this product was selected as a cheap alternative to the digital hearing aids.

The Stealth works for TV and quiet conversation with sufficient gain for my condition. The newly discovered “clinks” of flatware against a dish or the crispness of the sound of paper rustling attest to the amplifier quality. I also like the rechargeable battery which appears to last more than several hours of use (I plug it back in the charger when I take it off).

The negatives are that it doesn’t really stay put when moving around and it really isn’t comparable to a digital aid, but it serves my purposes admirably and is a steal at the price.

I have owned this amplifier now since 2/12/09 and I’ve had no problems with it at all. The sound is very adjustable and I really like the ‘rechargeable’ feature. It charges very fast and the sound is clear as long as the volume is not too high; there is distortion when it’s too high. My neighbor wears hearing aids and told me to put the unit on and turn on the water; listen for a volume (of water) that sounds ‘normal’ to you. That’s how I adjust this unit so as not to be too loud. I wear it mostly for tv as my hearing is not real bad, but voices get muffled on tv & radio a lot. Also, wear it when I’m in a room with many people talking (or noisy) as I cannot hear clearly what is being said. With this unit, I hear much clearer. I would definitely recommend you try this; however, I do realize that everyone’s hearing is unique to each person. Thus, what works for me may not work for others.

I’ve tried other devices designed to let you hear better and this is the best I’ve used yet.One trouble I had with it was the largest adaptor still wouldn’t stay in my ear if I moved around much.Solved that problem by slipping a small Oring over the adaptor shank and up under the umbrella and it stays good now. I also have a Seimans professional type hearing aid ($1000worth) and it is handier for away from the house use but listening to TV or normal conversation anound the house the Stealth has more amplification and works better. As far as the background noise complaints I’ve read about of course you are going to get that. It amplifies all sounds, not just the ones you want to hear. Even my Seimans does that. That noise is what normal hearing hears all the time but you get selective and ignore the sounds you aren’t iterested in.An excellent unit for the money.

Update Sept 2 2009. The rechargable battery now only lasts about 5 hours after a full

charge. I’m going to try one that uses replacable batteries and see how they do.
